Hobbies

I really love learning, reading, and writing. I miss being a student and enjoy teaching, which allows me to both share my enthusiasm for learning with others and learn from my students as well. I see tutoring as an extension of this: an opportunity to help one or two students at a time develop their skills and knowledge in a more personally-focused way. I am happy to tutor students in subjects related to literature/English, French language and literature, and world literature in translation as well as in study/organizational skills. Outside of work, I read avidly and played rugby while I attended college. I love hiking, camping, and exploring nature. I do community organizing work with the Vermont Workers' Center and Resource Generation.
