Experience
I taught middle school kids with disadvantaged backgrounds science concepts and experiments through UC Berkeley’s community service group. I like the fact that I was able to apply myself and inspire other people, especially kids with big hopes and dreams. It is important for me to remind them that science does not discriminate or does it know any boundaries. I have been involved in a couple of research laboratories; one in UCI and another in Berkeley. I have also taken pre-med classes and I am currently in the process of med-school applications.
