I am a graduated college student from the University of Virginia Engineering school, where I majored in Civil Engineering and minored in Environmental Science. I graduated with a 3.6 GPA and honors. I graduated from high school in Northern Virginia with a 3.9 GPA and an IB Diploma, where I specialized in the higher-level subjects of math, history, and English, and standard-level subjects of theatre, physics, and Spanish.
Experience
I have tutored approximately 150 hours with private, in-home tutoring companies in northern Virginia. I tutored elementary school-aged students and focused primarily on math but also worked with science, history, and writing. I also have experience tutoring older students as a teaching assistant for an introductory engineering course for first years at UVA.

Hobbies
I now work for AmeriCorps building trails with the Cross Vermont Trail Association. At UVA I was strongly involved in Alpha Phi Omega, a service fraternity that provides over 1500 hours of community service to the Charlottesville community every semester. I also played Quidditch on UVA's team and I like to go rock climbing for other exercise. In my free time I love to hike, play guitar, and photograph nature. I studied abroad in Sweden last semester so I also love to travel and experience new cultures.
