Helping elementary school children with Spanish. I love the Spanish language and as a person who doesn't speak Spanish as a first language, I am able to understand why someone would have difficulty, or what difficulties they may have. I have travled to Spain and Costa Rica studying Spanish while volunteering in impoverished areas. I have traveled to Japan, and Costa Rica for exchanges and taught english to children and adults and also people with special needs. I am studying Hispanic Studies at Glendon College in Toronto now to further my skills. I have also worked with children at after-school programs in the states.
